Meet Dr. Allen-Wilson, PhD

“Changing The World - One Book, One Message, One Life at a Time.”

Dr. Regina Allen-Wilson is  truly a woman who "wears many hats."   She is the President/CEO of AW/Associates, LLC  providing customized training services in the areas of team building, conflict resolution, stress management, image/self-esteem, self-motivation, job readiness skills, business/social etiquette training, trauma healing and spirituality. She is grateful for her 30+ years of corporate management/executive roles in Marketing and Human Resources at major corporations such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois, Amoco Corporation and Newton Buying Corporation.  These collective experiences  served as a vital foundation to help her launch her own company - AW/Associates, LLC.

 

Regina is also an “award winning” poet, published author, inspirational speaker, master level certified life coach and victim’s advocate. She has written over 600 poems and has published six  books to date on topics of inspiration, motivation, friendship, self-esteem and spirituality. She has been interviewed on several local, national talk radio programs, published in municipal news, gospel magazines, local newspapers, on social media and in numerous anthologies.

Regina has been blessed to be the recipient of numerous awards for her leadership skills and dedicated service over the past decades. A few of her cherished awards include:  2021 "Woman of The Year"- Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, 2017/2018 “VIP Executive Leadership & Management Award  from Marquis Who’s Who in the World, 2017 “Dedicated Business Service Award”- Strathmore’s Who’s Who, 2018 Chapter President of the Year Award - SPAA (Speaker, Publishers and Authors Assoc.) 2017 Speaker of the Year Award- SPAA, 2016 Inspirational Woman of the Year Award - Women’s Radio Network (NY); 2016- Inducted into The Wendell Phillips High School Hall Of Fame for Outstanding Alumni; 2010/2011-  “Business Woman of The Year - NAPW (National Association of Professional Women); 2010 – Received Three book Awards - Blue Ribbon, Silver Medal - Young Voices and Publisher’s Choice Award - Family Magazine (LA) for Children’s Book: “Something About My Face”- 2007 Received “Poet Fellow Award” - London, England, 2007 - Received a Resolution Award from Mayor Richard M. Daley (Chicago, IL) for her Dedicated Community Service Work; Received personalized note and photo from Dr. Maya Angelou for her book: “The Love Inside Me;” Featured Poet of the Month in Chicago Defender Newspaper.

Regina earned a Doctorate of Religious Studies from GMOR Theological Institute of America, an MBA in Business Administration and B.A. in Human Resource Management. In  addition, she has received numerous certificates in marketing and training.

Regina is a loving wife, mother, grandmother, relative, mentor, spiritual leader and friend. She believes in giving back to the community through dedicated service, pro-bono work, book donations to schools, hospitals, shelters and libraries. Regina gives God the glory for all she has achieved according to “His Will.”
